Preregistration information for MISIA TRAINING COURSES and SEMINARS

Our mission is to promote, maintain and improve a worldwide standard of the safety training of the athletes in the sport of Practical Shooting.

In developed IPSC Regions, there already exists an approved national system of IPSC training. Master Instructor in such Regions will have to make sure that the minimum international training standard is already present in the national program which are usually much larger that we offer.

The International IPSC Instructor for every IPSC Region must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • - Must be approved by the IPSC Regional Director or the MISIA Director (depending on the ranking).
  • - Must be a member in a good standing of an IPSC Region or an applying Region.
  • - Must either be an IROA or NROI member, or passed IROA/NROI seminar, or pass one within 12 months of the date of the MISIA International Instructors Seminar.
  • - Must be able to demonstrate reasonable shooting skill.
  • - Must be able to teach and certify new IPSC members, according to the approved training syllabuses.
  • - Should be available to conduct IPSC classes at least during weekends, if required.
  • - Must educate a minimum 5 students per year.
  • - Must pass the First Aid Seminar (from approved course provider), or take part in one within 12 months of the date of the MISIA International Instructors Seminar.
  • - Should understand English.

OBSERVATIONS:
  • - By attending the MISIA course, all participants will receive their ATTENDANCE certificate, and only those who pass the exams will be accredited as MISIA International Instructors and will be able to register on the platform and pay the annual fee for their MISIA ID.
  • - Prior to pre-registration for MISIA courses, the interested party will be able to download the details of the practical exams.
  • - In the event if not passing the exam on the last day of the course, those interested may take the exam again, agreeing on the day and time with the MISIA Director of their country, or failing that, the Regional Director, with the retest fee of 50 €/$.
  • - Before pre-registration for the MISIA courses, the interested party may download the details of the practical exams.

IMPORTANT:
Preregistration for a course is used to compile the list of participants interested in the course.
When MISIA closes the registration period, it confirms the final list of attendees with the Regional Director or the MISIA Director of each country of the pre-registration participants.
Then a confirmation email with the details of the course will be sent to the participants who are finally authorized to take the course.

To officially reserve a place you must pay for the slot. In the event that the Regional Director, MISIA Director of your Region does not accept your participation in the course, or if for any reason the course must be cancelled, the full registration fee will be refunded.
